Jump for Joy! #AtoZChallenge

I have a thing for books set up as a series. It doesn't really matter if the story is a continuation of the first novel, or if its a start for someone or something new.

I get all excited and annoyed - quite frankly - when it takes a while before the next installment comes out. But I think that's one of the reasons why I like it so much -- delayed gratification if you will.

We all have book releases that we've been waiting for, right? May it be a novel by one of your favorite authors, or simply one that you've seen in passing and found incredibly interesting so you added it on your wishlist.

I know I do have several ones that I can't wait to get my hands on right now.

I'm subscribed to one of my favorite author's, Marian Tee, newsletter. So that means I get real time updates about her newest projects and the likes. Right now I'm waiting for her last installment of Willow and Stavros' story, and I just can't wait anymore!!

Also, my social network accounts are filled with authors, book bloggers, and book tour organizers. Therefore, everytime I go to my facebook's newsfeed, Twitter's home page, or even my Goodreads account, I see book release updates that gets me all worked up.

I've never been a patient person, and waiting for something really good is sheer torture for me.

That is why I decided that being a tour host for blog tours is an awesome idea. Why? I get the chance to be one of the lucky few who gets to read the book I'm waiting for before it even comes out! Is that not great fellow bookworms? *arms extended*

Anyway, I've been blabbing on for a few minutes now, and I must let you go back to whatever it is you were doing before you read this extremely ranty (is that a word) post.

Though I would love to know if I'm the only one this obsessive about book releases and stuff.
