Blog Tour of Hunter by Sally Ann Melia -- REVIEW

Hunter is the second installment in the very engaging, exciting, and nerve-wracking trilogy, Guy Erma and the Son of Empire. In Kidnap, we get to meet two 13-year old boys who are from different walks of life, with different goals and responsibilities, but are alike in some ways that are of importance. Now their story continues, and it is truly a roller coaster ride.

Once they were heroes. These men died as heroes in battle. Now they have been reincarnated as the fearsome vanguard of the Dome Elite.

Two boys as different as any two boys might be. They face the same enemy, the same danger, the same fear - dare they trust each other?

REVIEW:
On my last review, I noted the maturity both Guy Erma and Teodor possess. For a couple of teenage boys, they sure have a lot riding on them. I guess that's one of the things that held my interest in the series. They weren't annoying kids with shallow issues, but young men who are responsible and goal-oriented.

The story was amazing, as to be expected. There's more tension, pressure, and a lot riding on the line for both Prince Teodor and Guy Erma. By the way, their face-off scene was simply *singsong voice* amazeballs! I could very well picture it in a movie. It's nice that the story gave way for all the characters to be more known by the readers. We were able to see things from different perspective, making things more interesting and easier to understand. I've always been a fan of fast-paced books, so the book held my interest and didn't bore me because it is action-packed. You're either feeling tense from the action or trying to figure out the mysteries behind the story.

The book was well-written; there weren't any grammatical errors resulting to its effectiveness to convey a story, and the author used a language that is both easy to understand and educational.

I somehow feel like I finished the book with more questions than answers. For those who've read this, do any of you feel the same? And I still thing that I'm alone on this, but I still don't dig the cover of the book. Like I said on another review, a good cover means a lot to me.

SUMMARY:
I'm not going to give any more details about the book because I don't want to spoil it for you guys, but I got to tell you that this is a truly exciting read that deserves 4.5 stars. Check this out you guys, you won't regret it.
