REVIEW of Finding Acceptance in His Arms by Thomas Briar
When I saw the cover of Finding Acceptance in His Arms, I honestly had second doubts in reading it. I'll explain more about that in a bit, but my point is, I was not expecting to read what I did. It was a thrilling and heart-pounding journey that I would like to share with all of you.

SYNOPSIS:
After discovering that success in life is hollow if she can't also fulfill her most secret sexual desires, twenty-two year old Kara Gibson is desperate to meet a certain man she's heard about that can help her discreetly explore one of her most titillating fantasies.
Thus, upon instigating a sexual relationship with Evan Lars, a young man in his mid-twenties who is as handsome as he is sexually adventurous, Kara falls desperately in love with Evan from the way he easily accepts all of the unnatural things that turn her on and how he steadily proves he has her best interests at heart. But true love always comes with some sort of sacrifice, doesn't it? And so, as their romantic entanglement hurtles toward its inevitable heartbreaking end, Kara becomes determined to stay with Evan despite the harsh realities of life threatening to steal away her happily ever after.
TO LOVE:
The story isn't something you come across everyday. A love story that is formed within the porn industry? Yeah, I don't think I've read something like that before, so that definitely leaves a mark on a reader. It also doesn't hurt that the intimate scenes were H-O-T. The things they did, it seemed...fun. *wink* Seriously, this book appealed to me sooo much.
The characters were intriguing and even annoying at times. At the first part, when Evan was introduced, I was turned off by him. Not because he was rude, we're all pretty much used to rude leading men nowadays, it's because he doesn't seem that interested in Kara. Sure, she was practically screaming Chili Pepper hooker, but she should've been acknowledged better. But then the great things to balance them out...whew! I need a fan, I'll be back real quick. He's a real gentleman and it is easy to fall in love with him.
TO BLEH:
The thing that really ticked me off was the cover. It doesn't give off a very good impression of the book, at least for me. Why? This is what I thought of when I saw the cover: The guy is much older than the woman, this is probably not that good because they didn't even exert that much effort in making a better cover, and this is an old book. The design seems very outdated and they could make it so much better.
SUMMARY:
That's it. Even though I didn't like the cover, it didn't deter me from liking the book a lot. I give it 5 stars and would definitely recommend it. It's a great read everybody.
Oohh, before I forget. The language is crude. A lot. So if you're not used to crassness, then maybe you should pass this one up.
